Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how MARKETING OS(hereinafter the "Platform", "Service", "we" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when the user accesses our website and our Platform.

This document complements ourPrivacy Policyand should be read together with it.

By using the Platform, the user consents to the use of cookies as described in this policy, except where they have chosen to disable them through their browser settings or the preferences panel available on the Platform.

02

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device when they visit a website. They are widely used to make websites run efficiently, remember preferences, and provide information to their owners.

In addition to cookies, we also use similar technologies:

Local storage

localStorage and sessionStorage — stores information directly in the browser

Pixels and tags

Small elements that record user actions

Device identifiers

Unique codes associated with the browser or device

For simplicity, throughout this policy we generically refer to all of these technologies as "cookies".

03

Types of cookies used

3.1 — Strictly necessary cookies

Essential for the Platform to work. Without them, the Service will not function properly. They cannot be disabled.

The data collected is used in aggregate form and, whenever possible, anonymised.

3.4 — Third-party provider cookies

When the user chooses to authenticate via Google, that provider may set its own cookies during the authentication process. These cookies are governed by their respective policies:

  • Google Privacy Policy
04

Social media cookies

When the user connects their social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook) to the Platform through the Meta Graph API,we do not use cookies from those social networkson our website. The integration happens at the backend level, with OAuth access tokens stored encrypted on our servers.

The Platform does not embed tracking pixels from Meta or other social networks.
05

Managing preferences

5.1 — Preferences panel on the Platform

The user can manage non-essential cookies at any time through:

→On first visiting the website — via the consent banner
→At any later time — in Account Settings → Privacy and Cookies

Changes take effect immediately and may affect features that depend on those cookies.

5.2 — Browser settings

The user can also manage cookies directly in their browser settings, including blocking, deleting, or being notified whenever a cookie is set.

Instructions for the main browsers:

Google ChromeMozilla FirefoxSafari (macOS)Safari (iOS)Microsoft EdgeOpera
Important note: disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Platform from working correctly — including the inability to log in.

5.3 — Do Not Track

The Platform respects the Do Not Track (DNT) signal sent by browsers. When this signal is detected, we automatically disable analytics cookies for that session.

06

International transfers

Some of the analytics cookie providers we use (such as PostHog and Sentry) may process data outside Angola or the European Union. We ensure these transfers are made with appropriate safeguards, as described in more detail in ourPrivacy Policy.

07

Retention of data collected via cookies

Data collected through cookies is retained for the following periods:

TypeRetention period
Session cookiesUntil the end of the session (browser closed)
Persistent cookiesAs indicated in the tables above
Aggregated analytics dataUp to 12 months
Logs and error dataUp to 90 days

After these periods, the data is deleted or anonymised.

08

Third-party cookies — external links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (connected social networks, documentation, providers). We have no control over the cookies set by those websites. We recommend that the user review their respective cookie policies before visiting them.

09

Changes to this Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in how the Platform works, new providers, or legal changes. Whenever this happens:

  • We update the revision date at the top of the document
  • In the event of material changes, we notify the user through the Platform or by email

Continued use of the Platform after the changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new version.
